This Absolutely Beautiful Coppertone Schwinn American DeLuxe Bicycle was Built 05/21/1964 but it was reborn on 11/10/2018. This bike was in rough shape so it was completely disassembled. From there the frameset and all parts were degreased cleaned regreased and shined up. In addition to this the bike has received Brand New Tires, Tubes, Rim Strips, Chain, Pedals, Front NOS Schwinn Cones and hours of Love... roughly 8 of them. Wheels have been Straightened but have a couple little hops. All Bearings have been cleaned and degreased by a Professional Mechanic of 15 plus years Experience. This bike is 100% mechanically sound and ready to ride. Having said all this the bike is not 100% flawless. There are still Scratches in the paint the chrome has some scratches and pitting. The paint has NOT been touched up in any way, just cleaned. Yes the Horn in the Tank WORKS and it SOUNDS Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! While working on this bike I only had one thing in mind, that this bike should be ridden a lot.... Hopefully you enjoy Riding this bike as much as i did restoring it. I will be including the orignal pedals with this bike, the axles are bent and not very road worthy. This Deluxe bicycle features chrome seat post, seat clamp, kickstand, fender braces and much more.
