This Beautiful Schwinn Hornet was Built in February of 1953. The paint is in great condition for its age, has a few scratches here and there. Rims are clean and straight. Tires appear to be the Original Schwinn Typhoon Cord Balloon. Tires are cracked on the side walls. Sadly this bike is missing the original tank and front light that came with the bike. The rack is slightly bent in the rear. Rear reflector on fender also looks replaced and not original. The grips are dry,cracks and missing pieces. The Mesinger Saddle is clean overall besides a few small cuts/ scuffs. The hubs and bottom bracket bearings have been regreased. Pedals are Torrington and in good shape.
