Map brought to you buy the Waukesha County parks system.

 

The first implentation of the Minooka Mountain Bike Trail is open.  June 1st 2013, the ribbon cutting for 1.5 miles of a beginner moutain bike trail has taken place.  Waukesha County has teamed up with the Waukesha Bike Alliance (WBA) and the Metro Mountain Bikers to meet a regional and community need.  Future plans are to have an intermediate and advanced sections of the mountain bike trail,  totaling the three trails to 5 miles.  We are looking forward to it.

Trailhead: 1927 E. Sunset Dr.  Waukesha, WI   Trail is located in Minooka Park near picnic shelter 5, great for combining a day of grilling & mountian biking.  

Difficulty: Easy, great for beginners

Terrain:  Singletrack dirt trail, some built in larger rocks for technique, not many roots, small descents & climbs.

Fees / Permits:  $4.00 per car daily entrance fee 

Scenery:  Path entwines through woods with small grassy open plains.
